Halo Press publishes work that travels between Tehran and Paris. The system needed to honor both directions without flattening either. We anchored the identity in two reading mechanics — a Latin display face for cover, masthead, and chapter markers, and a Persian display face tuned in weight and x-height to sit alongside it without dominating.

The grid

A compositional grid built on a 12-column LTR / 12-column RTL parity. Vertical rhythm is shared between languages; horizontal alignment flips cleanly.

The mark

The logotype reads as a sun and a lens — a small disk in a long horizontal — printed silver-foil on cover stock #4 and inked accretion-orange on paperbacks.
